Once upon a time, this particular restaurant was a Red Car station, and there were pictures and maps on the walls telling you so. The food was good, and the service was great. Unfortunately, they redecorated with BCA (Boring Corporate Art) and did away with all the wonderful historic information. About the same time, they lost their old management team, and haven't been the same since. The service can be pretty good, but there are times when the food simply is not prepared correctly. Case in point: they charge $9 for their California Taco Salad, which should come with various ingredients, including sour cream. My wife was recently served a taco salad which contained no meat (an obvious oversight by the kitchen crew), and the wait had the nerve to suggest that's how it's *supposed* to be. We had to get the manager involved to get the sour cream. Naturally, we won't be back, and you shouldn't go anywhere near it either. You won't be missing much. The food is better at Denny's, as is the pie -- for a place with Pie in the name, they certainly don't have a clue about what makes good pie (hint, kids -- check the shortening). Marie Calender's and Coco's also are superior. Enjoy one of those places, and let this echo fade away.
Pros: adequate pie, cholula ranch on salads
Cons: Service bad, food uneven
