The food at pollo tropical is a change from normal fast food. Who wants a burger when I can eat a ? Chicken Value Meal with 2 sides for $ 3.99. The food is a lot healthier for you...

I love this place 11/3/2005

I love Pollo Tropical. It's a fast food place, so the food comes to you quickly and is always delicious. Their rice and black beans are so good, and YES, the plantains! They are so sweet! My favorite meat from there is the chicken, but they have beef, pork and shrimp if you want some variety. Everything I've tried from there is great. And feel free to use the drive-thru, they are very accurate with the orders -they have never left something out, or confused my order yet. more

Constistanly a good meal 8/9/2005

A nice change from the usual burgers and fries at most drive thru windows. The plantains are a must try. The food is always perfect. If you want a little heat w/ your beans ask for the salsa condiment. more

Cuban fast food that tastes delicious 7/18/2005

Pollo Tropical has great chicken, shrimp, bananas and salads. The value for the dollar is amazing and if you add to it that it's drive-thru with a Cuban kick how can you go wrong? Have to admit, unlike traditional drive-thru this is not eat-in-your-car friendly! Wait until you get home to dig in because, speaking from experience, bananas strewn across your car are not good! Oh my, now I've got to go to Pollo Tropical for my fix! more

Always a good bet 6/17/2005

Fast food but something different. Cuban food such as black beans and rice, roasted port, chicken. Service is always fast and food is prepared perfect every time. Presently I believe they are only in Florida, but if you have a chance give it a try. more
