Modern and primitive camping sites with showers are available at Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt, Jester Park, Thomas Mitchell Park, and Yellow Banks Park. All parks are located in Polk County approximately 30 minutes from downtown Des Moines, IA.
Sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Limited campsites at each park can be reserved online.
