Worst

Emergency room is usually overcrowded and has very long wait times. Staff is not adequate to handle the amount of patients that are usually seen. Needs improvement.

Oconee Memorial Hospital 11/29/2005

I would not recommend this hospital for anyone, even in the case of an emergency. If you go to the hospital's emergency room you can expect to be there for a long while in the waiting room. There have been instances in which people have been waiting with a small child that has fallen and busted their head open who has had to wait for almost three hours. Also, the staff at this hospital is all in all irresponsible and not very alert. There have been people to get hurt while admitted to this hospital with such injuries as bruises and knots. more

I think the hospital is good overall but I do have some complaints. When you go for just bloodwork or xray they make you sign in across the hospital which takes FOREVER!! I had both of my kids at OMH and they treated me with respect and anything I wanted they give me. more
