We would have been better off signing a contract with a convicted felon. From snow removal to grounds maintenance/cleanliness and management of amenities - this complex is pathet...

DO NOT MOVE INTO POLARIS CROSSING APTS. 6/1/2011

We would have been better off signing a contract with a convicted felon. From snow removal to grounds maintenance/cleanliness and management of amenities - this complex is pathetic. Birds have made nests in the light fixtures disabling the lights in the public breezeways and bombarding the hand-rails, steps and access walkways with droppings. It is an obvious safety and health concern, but the complex has done nothing to remedy despite multiple complaints by us and our neighbors. Additionally, the hot tub has been surrounded by yellow ""warning"" tape for over two years. It appears to be clean and full this year, but because the pool is not yet open (despite the scheduled opening for May 28, 2011) because it is cloudy, dirty, not chemically-balanced etc. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS COMPLEX!! more

DON'T LIVE HERE!!!!! 8/27/2010

I first moved here back in June 09 and signed a 14 month lease. Little did I know this was the biggest mistake I could make. I currently work over at JPMorgan Chase so I couldn't beat the location or prices. However, when I first moved in I was told that if there were any deals by the time I renewed my lease they could offer it to me as long as it was being offered to new resident. LIE. Even now when I've had so many problems and complained to the leasing office about it they told me they don't 2 months free options anymore, even to the new residents who sign up. Which I knew was a flat out lie b/c I had a friend call to ask. And their new NorthPark location (behind polaris mall) offers this deal still bc a girl I know lives there now too. more

Safety and Snow cleaning 1/26/2008

I have been staying at Polaris Crossing for 4 months now. I have noticed that in the thick of winter, when there is heavy snowfall, there is no cleaning whatsoever done. Who would be responsible if theres a skid and accident in the parking lot ??? Weekend services are charged for, we don't call maintainence unless needed, right. Though everything is nearby, the apartment services are not upto the mark for a complex as big as Polaris Cossing. And when I was about to write this review, I read the ones about move-out charges, it does scare me if this is the story for each move-out. And I have heard that some days ago, laptops were stolen from houses and GPS Systems from Cars, makes me wonder if its safe at all here. Pros: Mall, eating joints nearby Cons: Poor maintainance more

They refuse to give us an itemized bill for move-out damages 10/11/2007

My husband and I recently found out that our former landlord sent collection letters to my employer and family members about a damages charge for our apartment after we moved out...After moving out on July 31, we never received our security deposit or any bill, so this was the first time hearing of this. After requesting an itemized bill over the phone AND via fax and certified mail, the company has refused to give us a bill several times and threatened us with ruining our credit. My husband and I both received phone calls telling us to not contact them again unless it is through our lawyer, and then were hung up on. We have made it extremely clear that we will pay, we just would like an itemized bill, but he refuses and says he already turned me in to the credit agencies. We call the Polaris Crossings office and they just direct us to the Collections department.... more

Unable to verify move-out charges 7/30/2007

Polaris Crossing Apartments in C-bus OH (run by Ardent Properties) will look extremely appealing at first and while you live there, the conditions are alright. Once you move out, the nightmare begins. If you don't mind paying for ""damage"" which never existed, then you will be fine. Have some money set aside - the costs will be extensive. Now I have found online feedback from many other individuals (some who have taken this company to court over similar charges) and I wish I would have read these before signing that lease.
