I love Poko! 1/27/2012

I love everything about Poko Loko. I have been bringing my son there since he was 8 weeks old and have nothing but happy with my experience (my son is 10 months now). The teachers are very friendly and knowledgable. He has learned so much more by being here than just by being at home. I would recommend this daycare all day long to everyone. more

I have to disagree with that negative reveiw 1/21/2010

I've been taking my daughter to Poko Loko for almost 2 years now and I have NEVER had a problem with any of the staff or owners. I find everyone to be very friendly, warm and loving. I am totally comfortable leaving my daughter in their care. Even if she's having a rough morning and is being extra clingy. I know that her teachers will make her feel loved and comfortable. The teachers and owners always make time for me and my family - I feel that it is our home away from home and I would highly recommend them!!!!! more

Inexperienced with child new to daycare 12/28/2006

My 2 year old child was new to daycare settings and had a difficult time adjusting to the new environment. However, the teachers in PokoLoko made little efforts to make him feel welcome - leaving him pretty much on his own crying most of the time. There was no warmth in the class room. We had to pull him out when my wife saw a teacher grabbed his hair when he tried to run to her. Sadly, the owner and director were not sympathetic when we highlighted this incident, insisting the teacher didn't do anything wrong. We are filing a complaint to DCFS. Would not recommend this PokoLoko for children new to daycare setting. more
