Day 1:
I was told to contact these guys for a somewhat large job. I called and asked and even if a bit hesitant, he agreed to do it.
I ordered the parts I needed (rack and pinion, PS pump, O2 sensor) dumped as much PS fluid as the basin would allow and drove my car to their shop.
Day 2:
Called to see how they were doing, was told he didnt want to do the job anymore but he was gonna ask his father to see if he wanted to do it.
Called them again 4 hours later to hear that the father also doesnt want to do it. I asked why he would tell me he would do the job if this was going to happen. Apparently I guilt tripped him into rethinking the job and he was going to call me back.
Got a phone call back this time! Only to be told that they really dont want to do the job at all... and to be told that the car isnt starting anymore either. Great!
Lady said she drove it into the garage, but couldnt drive it out because the car wouldnt start. (this is where I totally lost all patience and trust in these guys) I asked them to find out where they messed up and to get back to me with a solution.
Day 3:
Called and left a message about my key fob being loose and comes apart with little effort (to replace the battery) to see if that might fix it.
Got a call back 6 hours or so later to be told that they found the issue~! It was a broken wire (of course THEY DIDNT do it while they were messing around, RIGHT?) Was told it was 6 hours labor and 200 bucks for parts to have it replaced. I said I dont want them touching it anymore, that I felt I couldnt trust them and that ill have to get a tow truck to have it hauled out. FML, of course this was going to happen! Of all the things my car has been unreliable with, STARTING AND STOPPING was NOT ONE OF THEM. My car has always started and stopped, no problems, EVER.
TLDR: Anywho, to sum it up. Was told work was going to be done, never got done. They broke a wire and wont fix it. Now im in the hole 250 bucks for towing AND replacing the part.
