<p>I have over 30 years experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and ultimate rehabilitation of chronic pain ranging from common problems as neck and back pain due to herniated discs, failed spine surgery and/or injured "facet" joints. I also treat more complex pain from reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), occipital neuralgia, intractable headaches and migraines, herpes zoster (shingles), cancer pain and fibromyalgia. I graduated from Columbia University, Medical School in NYC and trained in Anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where I also was on the teaching faculty and then had over 40 peer reviewed publications and scientific presentations. <p>I opened an additional office in Lehigh Valley. Due to fine line between opioid dependency,opioid misuse and opioid addiction,I am certified by the DEA and the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment for Office-based Opioid Treatment<strong> </strong>not only for <em>maintenance</em>,but for <em>detoxification</em> as well. Perhaps the most important feature of the Drug Abuse Treatment Act and the availability of Subutex and Suboxone is that it gives the ability to treat addicts in the privacy of an office,not only for <em>maintenance</em>,but for <em>detoxification</em> as well Patients no longer need to travel to substandard clinics to receive help for their addiction.</p>
<p>Due to the complexity of my unique office based practice – <em>Medicare does not cover my overhead</em>; therefore I do not participate in Medicare or Medicaid. I welcome patients with major medical insurance,workers’ comp or auto insurance. I have competitive self-pay rates as well. I use electronic records; referral notes are faxed the same day or available to the patient for download to their computer.
