I brought my truck in for inspection on a Friday afternoon. The repairman told me that one tire needed a ball bearing and the other needed a tie rod. He seemed to be moving his body around excessively to create the illusion of a moving tire to me, but allowed him to call me later with an estimate. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because he said either they could do the repair or I could take it to my own mechanic. Since my husband is my mechanic, he did the repairs in the garage over the weekend eventhough he felt they were not necessary. We figured this was easier than trying to find someplace else because Monroe County is full of inspection sticker scam artists anyway. On Monday morning I called with my update and asked what I should do next. My name and number was taken down and my phone call was not returned. On Friday, I called again. Nobody answered the phone, so on the 3rd try I left a message. My call was promptly returned. The man said they ""have no stickers left"". I asked why they didn't tell me that last week? And I said ""would you have had a sticker for me if I had paid you $300 for the bogus repairs?"" I was promptly hung up on. more

I have had the pleasure to work with Pocono Motion during the past four years with four seperate vehicles under the guidance of Rich's precision team members. Unfortunately our family is doing our best to ""thin the herd"" without permits for deer season. more

My 2004 Honda Civic SI had a run in with the local wildlife here (a nice buck that got away!). Took the car to PM on the recommendation of a friend. Though they had some problems getting the correct parts from the suppliers, not PM's fault. The repair was completed in 2 weeks. The car looks as good as new! They cleaned and vacuumed the interior and washed the exterior. Everyone I talked to or had any dealings with were pleasant and professional. more

In JUL 09 I used Pocono Motion for the 3rd time. The first 2 were insurance claims and all work was well coordinated with my carrier and the result was that the cars were good as new on the date promised. This experience was even better. Rich Banks (owner) and Alan (shop manager) worked with me to restore my daughter's car after an accident that I had to pay out-of-pocket. They worked with me to source a combination of new and used parts to meet my budget needs and save the car. The Altima is unquestionably in even better shape than before the accident. Thanks guys! So all I wanted was for our car to be looked at last week for some front end body damage. First I was told to bring the car in first thing in the morning on the follow Tuesday and leave it there for the day. So I went back Tuesday and the rude repairman tells me he can't look at it and to bring it back on Friday when it's not raining. So today being Friday, I took it in first thing in the morning and the same man comes up and says ""I can't look at it today, I have no one"". WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT TUESDAY. Plus he was very rude and told me ""to use common sense, because it was a holiday weekend"". Who the heck would want to use them as a car repair shop with attitudes like that. I am going somewhere else, where I'm not treated like a nobody, so should you. I hope this place goes out of business. Cons: Parking is horrible, Workers are rude. more
