a nice educational site 8/18/2005

Plymouth Plantation is a great educational take-in for anyone who visits Plymouth. Plymouth Plantation is a recreation of the colonists' village built in 1620. There's also a recreation of a Wampanoag village as well. The employees are well versed in the history and are immersed in the "act" of living like the colonists. There are also other attractions located not too far from Plymouth Plantation - downtown, the waterfront, the Mayflower. Plymouth is such a great place to visit! more

If you're visiting Plymouth, you should go to the Plymouth Plantation. It's worth the money if you are a history fanatic. There you can walk around to see actors or whatever go about how Plymouth was back then. You can visit the homes and sometimes there are guides that walk around with you to explain to you what's what. more
