Nothing but Praise 9/16/2011

In the last 32 years we have moved 11 times. If there is one lesson I can share with everyone it's, trusting your move with a bargain basement trucking company is like playing russian roulette with 5 bullets, we would give them our stuff and pray for the best. I can tell you, its definitely not worth it. 12 years ago we discovered Plycon Van lines and they moved us 3 times over the years. From Alabama to Chicago, Chicago to Vancouver and Vancouver to Texas and we have complete faith in their abilities. I now work for the gas industry and hopefully this was our final move, but if we ever need to move again, we're calling Plycon van lines. more

NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY 8/8/2011

I have moved quite a bit in my lifetime and this is the worst company I have ever had to deal with, starting with the dishonorable and vile Mike Pliaconis. I purchased a very expensive bed from California and arranged for it to be shipped to San Antonio, Texas. The bed arrived damaged. I contacted Mr. Piiaconis via email and he attempted to blame all of the damages on the seller. In our flurry of emails, however, he unwittingly admitted that some of the damage was caused during shipping. When I pointed out his admission, he cut off all contact with me. I filed a complaint with the BBB. As expected, Plycon did not respond to the complaint. I did, however, receive a call from Mr. Pliaconis in which he stated that he would pay the contractual damages of 60 cents per pound. He stated that he would advise ""corporate"" to cut a check for the damages. I'm sure when he said this he did not know that the bed weighed several hundred pounds. I never received a check and have never heard from Mr. Pliaconis again. I have tried emailing him on several occasions with no response. Suffice it to say that Mike Pliaconis is a liar and dishonorable business person. Do not trust your goods with this company. I gave this company 1 star only because a rating is required. Otherwise it would receive 0! more

Pleasantly Surprised 8/4/2011

We recently used Plycon Van Lines to move my mothers dining room table and chairs from her house in Dallas to ours in Long Island. It may not be all that expensive, but it's priceless to us. Plycon wrapped and crated everything, I've never seen anything like it. They even un-crated everything and set it in place in our home. A special ""thank you"" to Mike for helping us keep our family treasures. more

Think twice before using Plycon Van Lines to move valuables 1/21/2010

I did not expect that my antique piece of furniture would arrive broken, because Plycon Transportation Group had been recommended to me by the reputable Chatsworth Auction Rooms of Mamaroneck, New York, where I purchased the fine antique. Pros: If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. Cons: My experience with Plycon Van Lines has been a nightmare more
