Plunkett Home Furnishings

In most cases, while Plunkett's sells quality furniture their customer service and delivery promises are downright awful. We've ordered family room, kitchen and basement furniture from them and in each case it took between a month and two months longer than promised. Then, on a separate occassion we bought a floor model dining room set that they said was being discontinued only to find it the next day brand new and at a cheaper price at Macy's. Fortunately, they cancelled order after we explained the situation. Bottom line, temper your expectations when dealing with Plunkett's. more

This place has some of the most beautiful furniture I have ever seen. Their store is filled with exquisite pieces for the entire home. While their furniture is on the expensive side, you definitely get what you pay for. Not only are all their pieces unique, but they are exceptionally elegant and of really great quality. In this area, I think the quality and elegance of Plunkett's furniture is unbeatable. However, I do have a gripe with their customer service. It is absolutely terrible. I ordered a dining room set from here. I was promised delivery within a week, but did not recieve my set for almost two months. And everytime I tried to contact my sales rep or the manager, they were always "out" and my voicemails were never returned. I was most upset because they had taken full payment from me in order to garuntee that delivery date. So, if you are planning to do business here, make sure to be vary of their customer service! more
