I was a bit suprised to read some of the reviews that complained about the prices of the food and wine at Mercy's....So I will attempt to address those issues.

Worst

Just like my predecessor said. Looks nice on outside, but EXTREMELY overpriced on the inside. Pros: Fries, lounge chairs Cons: $$$$ for wine. Save money and goto a viney...

I am new in Dallas so I am trying a lot of places. The staff here really knows wine. We had 4 in our party and we all just told the waiter what we wanted. He picked and none of us were disappointed. Setting out side was a treat. The place just felt good. Pros: the wine menu Cons: parking more

Wonderful Date Night with my Wife 3/14/2010

Fantastic find, great waiter who possessed a great knowledge of his wines. Price for wine and food is the going rate for an experience like this. You have to try the cheese plate. Price is right for an experience like this $22 for a great filet, all they need is bread pudding on the menu and I would never leave! Pros: Wait Staff, Ambiance, Wine Selection more

Mercy Wine Bar is one of my favorite places in Dallas! The entire experience is wonderful and enjoyable, regardless of how many people you go with. A little expensive, the food and wine are worth every penny. I recommend the flights of wine chosen by the servers. He or she asks your preferences and brings out three wines that never disappoint. Pretty and Elegant---too expensive 2/20/2007

Mercy is a pretty place, but I'd much rather go to the Chateau, Wine Therapist or Times Ten. Just a tad to expensive compared to the hybrid stores. When you drink a glass or two daily as part of the Mediterranean lifestyle, wine has to be affordable! more

They have a beautiful atmosphere, much more posh than any I have found in this city. Well trained staff and excellent selection. Not your commercialized wine bar either. I do not like to walk in to a place that feels like there are one in every corner, city. Mercy is unique and offers much more than even your more traditional places. The decor and ambiance are very inviting for visitors and diners. Once seated at eithger the bar or a table, the friendly wait staff are very accomdating. Their knwoeldge of wines is impressive, especially the sommelier's. more

...this place is it! Great wine, wonderful food and a knowledgeable waitstaff that has been there forever. You can get bottles, glasses & half glasses of very large variety of wines.
