Poor Customer Service 1/23/2012

Transmission never shifted right and broke 2 days after the warranty ran out. Spoke with the owner who informed me that there was nothing he could do on the warranty...Really? Sure didn't mind taking the $3,500 it costs for the rebuild. I advise anyone looking for transmission repair to shop around. Plotts is not the only transmission repair company in the local area. more

Professional and fair 11/16/2010

I am NEVER happy about spending money on car repairs, but I have been to Plotts several times and have never been treated any way but fair. They took the time to explain my options and I am a big boy so I know you only get what you pay for. They are professional, competent and above all fair. more

Go Elsewhere 10/11/2010

My wife and I brought our vehicle here for transmission work and the owner told us we should replace our transmission with a used one. It seemed like a good recommendation and he even said it is what he would recommend his mother to do if I were her. He also told us that it was warranted for 30 days. Since picking up the vehicle, it has not shifted correctly. We took it back and one of the mechanics on staff drove it and told us that the transmission was bad. The owner was not helpful and now they want another $500 to hopefully get it right the second time. I am taking my vehicle and going elsewhere. more
