OMG Amazing food 11/7/2007

One day I was walking down st charles ave and please u restaurant caught my eye. I decided to go in and I was blown by the hospitality. I was seated immediatly to my comfort. I was waited on very quickly. I ordered the shrimp po-boy it was the most amazing thing i have ever had. I have never had a more scrumptious po boy in the state of louisiana or anywere else on the map. This place is absolutly amazing its a little rough on the edges but the food and price is absolutly insane. Go here its the greatest. Pros: The food, prices, the waitresses, it has a comfortable look Cons: its not the nices looking place more

Truth in Name and Deed 12/26/2006

We were in town for the 2006 Christmas holiday and worried that Katrina had damaged P-U.But no.Gumbo, shrimp creole, and spaghetti&meatballs were excellent and the portions generous.Moderately priced so the value was outstanding.And they deliver! The Please U restaurant is a great place to eat when your hungry and want a home cook meal. its inexpensive and extremely good!!!!! locally own, since 1946 it truely is a diner experience. i recommend this restaurant to everybody! its just that good!! Pros: inexpensive, great eats, fast service more

Po Boys for Breakfast! 10/18/2002

It's not the prettiest place to eat in New Orleans, but the oyster po boys are so good my husband has them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A great locals hangout. Pros: inexpensive, good parking, no wait Cons: could use some soap more
