They showed up late for the installation appointment, then worked late, causing my wife to miss an appointment she had (she was not happy). Turned out they were missing a part and had to reschedule to complete the installation. Did a somewhat sloppy installation (left markings on tiles, some parts not cut to right length, too much silicone, screw not hidden from view, tool markings left on surrounding paint). Came back the next week to add stop and seal. In the end, the shower leaks - I will fix it myself. I expected more for a $2k price tag.
RESPONSE FROM Pleasanton Glass Co:
Dear Peter,
I am so sorry to hear about your experience using my company. We always strive to provide the best customer experience possible. Unfortunately, there were some problems with your shower installation which we tried to remedy. I know that a part came damaged from the manufaturer which is unaccaptable. Therefore we were forced to reschedule.
As far as our lateness goes, this is abssolutely not how we generally conduct business and it is a problem we have been woking on. We try not to give a "window" so customer's don't have to waste their valuable time waiting for us to arrive. Unfortunately, sometimes it is difficult to make it on time to a job if the previous job runs late. This is not an excuse, but a problem we are working on.
As far as our workmanship is concerned, I take this VERY seriously. If you aren't satisfied with your shower, it is our responsibility to make it right. I don't want you to feel that you have to live with a sub par shower. I would like the opportunity to look at the shower and rectify the situation. I spoke to the technicians who installed your shower and they were under the impression that you were happy with the shower when we left, otherwise we wouldn't have accepted payment for it.
This is a family business and we have been working with the residents of Pleasanton for over 40 years. It is our intention to continue doing so and I don't feel comfortable with the fact that you are dissatisfied. I'm sure one way or another we can make it right.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Bilse
