I went in to look for a good, supportive, cute pair of shoes to wear at work. A tall, thin fella helped me find a pair that worked - I'm difficult to fit, but found a pair in a matter of a few minutes so he didn't have to work too hard. He was pleasant enough, not rude or anything, but I don't mention his name because he never introduced himself. My biggest gripe however was that I spent $200 on a pair of shoes, supporting a local small business and not once did I hear a, ""thanks for coming in"", a simple ""thank you"", ""we appreciate your business"", etc.... Really? Is it that difficult to show some appreciation?
