great local watering hole that you must attend on a friday or saturday where the local artists -some of the best in the region that play to packed houses. you can listen under the stars or from the bar room. pat blanchard plays here often as do local ghost, living room legends to name just a few of the local artists that you will want to hear and snag a cd of. more

The Playground Bar 8/14/2005

The Playground is located in historic downtown Augusta. It's a game theme bar with pool tables, foosball, games to bring to your table, a huge blackboard to express yourself, and many video games to choose from. They have foosball and pool table tournaments. Krazy Karaoke Night is fun along with their Happy Hour. They have live music from all kinds of local bands. more
