Know what you're after... 4/4/2006

Play It Again Sports carries both new and used sports equipment. It's great to be able to shop locally and in a smaller, not mega-chain store. Know what you're looking for when you go in, though, or be prepared to go home and do some research before coming back to purchase, especially with some used items - find out what a reasonable used price is for the item. But that's common sense no matter where you shop. The people are friendly and helpful, even when they don't carry what you're after (that day it just so happened to be clogging shoes). more

Great Value on Sports Equipment 8/11/2005

We try to stay away from the huge mega stores and try and frequent the smaller guys. We stopped in Play it Again for a softball glove for a birthday present. Not only do they have a wide variety of sporting equipment, both new and used, but the staff is ultra friendly and helpful. My husband continued to eye this particular glove so the sales associate come over and talked with him about it, then offered to knock off $10! Sold! We got a good quality glove at a great price and will definitely visit again! more
