Plato's Closet

These other reviews are NOT accurate! I've been going to this Plato's Closet since jan 2010 and its been awesome. it seemed like they got new girls working there since ive been going and they are way sweet and always really helpful. I sell clothes too and it sucks to have to wait in the store the whole time... but i asked why and they said that they were corporate rules so its not like its their fault and another thing was how long it took but after a few times i realized its just because they dont want to have crappy clothes as much as you dont want to see or buy crappy clothes - would you rather have them go thu stuff super fast and not even look at it really? which turn into the clothes that they sell in the store... and if you dont like seeing or buying gross clothes in there why would you complain that they take too long by being too thorough when they are buying your clothes?!?!?! its a really cool concept and i think that there are good sides and down sides to every business. I like it, they have cuuuuute inexpensive clothes and have really nice customer service.. -Barbra Pros: Super nice staff, really cute CHEAP clothes Cons: only one of everything most of the time more

Every time I go in there I swear I will not go again yet I do. When I take good quality cloths for purchase they maybe take one item out of twenty. The time it takes for them to go through it takes forever. I went again today with a large box of clothing. They told me it would be 25 min before they could get to it. Not really that big of a deal. The big deal was my husband and I were told we couldn't leave the store. They really act like they are doing you a big favor. Well no thanks!!! more

I'm a 19-year-old college student, and I think the store seemed to cater to a much younger crowd. The clothes looked very cheap, and the prices were not as discounted as I thought they were going to be. I picked up a Gap sweater that was $20. For that price, I might as well go to the Gap store and get a new sweater that hasn't been worn. Many of their clothes looking dirty and picked over. There were many young girls in there looking at the clothes, whish made it even more juevinile. If you want to look very young, then this is the store for you. more
