I have been going to Thomas at Platinum Salon since they opened in 2004 and I wouldn't even consider going to anyone else. I have had my hair professionally colored for many, many years and was a client at the Van Michael's Salon until I moved out to Braselton area. I was elated the first time I went to Thomas....he is the master of color and highlights.His cuts are supurb and I have never been happier. Wow, I read that review suggesting people go to some salon in Buford instead of Platinum. I suspect this vindictive redneck might be working for the place in Buford. I can tell you that Platinum, as far as I'm concerned is the only game in town.\r You know it's a sham when they start promoting another busines after an exaggerated claim about some horrible experience. more

Do not waste your time or money at this salon. They do not know how to work on brunettes without turning them orange and then they will not do anything to fix the problem. After calling the country stylist to tell her how bad she messed up my hair it took her a week to call me back. Then after scheduling an apt. with her to fix it, and making arrangements with a babysitter, 2 hrs. before the apt. the receptionist calls me to cancel the apt. saying that the horrible stylist didn't come into work that day and no one else was available!!! She didn't listen to my needs to start with and then this was the last straw. The girl has no business doing hair, she doesn't have a clue what she is doing and this salon needs real help in customer service! Go to Karma salon in Buford, they are the best and know what they are doing and fixed all of Platinum's mistakes!!!! Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything more
