We bought a pop-up camper from Mr. Plapp-owner. He ASSURED us that these days ""you can pull a pop-up with anything."" We were nervous if our van could pull the pop-up b/c we had never had one. After he reassured us, we went to the garage they recommended and had a trailer hitch installed on our minivan. When we drove off the lot with our pop-up, the van shook and swayed. When I followed behind the van pulling the pop-up, I knew it was NOT right. The thing rode so low, there were sparks on the ground where it was hitched. Plapps assured us they could remedy the problem with some more parts and adjustment. A month later, we still had yet to go camping, but finally had our new parts. Well, long story short, the new parts did not remedy the problem. Our van could still not pull this deluxe, high wall popup. After this second attempt and not even camping one time after our $10K + investment, we said we wanted them to give us our money back. Well, we didn't really get our money back. We had to wait for them to ""consignment"" sell it from their lot for us...so we lost out on over $1000K, plus all the money wasted on a trailer hitch we have never used. It was a very sour experience. They were all very nice up until we signed the dotted line....then they were near as friendly or helpful. The younger hired guy who worked there was really nice...to bad he didn't own the place instead.
Pros: Example: best croissants in town
Cons: don't know what they are talking about
