Plantation Pet Health Center

I have been taking my animal's (cat,dog) to Dr. Martin for the last 6 year's. He is an amazing vet who shows compassion and great knowledge. We had a cat that was attacked by a bobcat and could not be saved, Dr. Martin went above and beyond, including sending us a condolence card signed by all his staff. He does not rush when he see's you, you feel like your pet (as well as yourself) is so important to Dr. Martin. On the few occasions we've had to go out of town we board our pet's there, knowing they are treated with love by all who work there. I've read reviews that he is too expensive and tries to push spending more money than necessary on your pet, that has never been my experience with Dr. Martin. You can count on getting the straight fact's from him concerning the well being of your pet and yes sometimes pet care can be expensive, but that's any veternarian you would go to. I'd rather be told the truth than see someone who does not have the best interest of my pet's! I would recom more

Dr. Martin is a very good veterinarian. He has been treating our pets for many years. He seems to enjoy our dogs and has taken great care of them. His staff does let us know of many preventative options available for our pets. I think the cost of veterinary care is expensive in our area and the prices at this clinic are no exception. We do sometimes have to wait a few minutes past our appointment time but not excessively. I do have to say that their groomer, Whitney, is awesome and after trying a few others we will never stray from Whitney again. more

Doctor Martin is very hard to get in touch with. You will spend most of your time dealing with the staff. They are very difficult to deal with and that is a refection of the doctor. They are not very good at relaying messages either from the doctor to you or from you to the doctor. The main goal it seems at this place is to make money. They do NOT seem as concerned with the animal as they are about hitting your pocketbook. If your pet has a mild health concern they will offer more than is necessary in order to get what they desire most MONEY. If your animal does have a problem that could be serious you WILL get the speech about how much are you willing to spend, which is not something that you want to hear when your animals health is at stake. You just want your animal to get better, bottom line. If you are not spending the amount equivalent to the most involved care you will NOT get the attention needed.
