I have owned over 20 dogs in my life (no more than 4 at once ;) and I can tell you these folks are the most impressive bunch I have ever visited. The doctor called me, personally, to check on my dog and seemed to genuinely care. They have specialized equipment but are very reasonable and did not make me feel like I HAD to spend a fortune to help him. I wish my physician was so concerned about my well being!! more

Loved the service 3/31/2009

Only the I did not like is the $90 doctor's fee, then all the additions come along with it depending on the sickness of your dog. Thank Goodness my dog's condition was not serious and treatable. The staff were very informative and caring. The facility was very clean. I would recommend this place. more

The best!!! 1/13/2009

The folks at Plantation are awesome! When I first showed up there they actually talked me OUT of an expensive surgery for my cat and encouraged me to try medication instead...3 years later and he is still doing great! The doctors are great at offering "options" and explaining the good and bad of each and seem very practical. If you visit them you will be a client for life! (unfortunatly we are moving! Dr murphy knew a vet in charleston that he likes so hopefully we will be happy there too!) more

Wonderful, kind, caring animal clinic 11/17/2008

Dr. Murphy and his staff took care of my family's Shih Tzu for many years - basically snatching him from the jaws of death when another animal clinic in Matthews misdiagnosed him. When his time finally came years later, Dr. Murphy was wonderful, kind and compassionate to my family and went above and beyond what anyone could anticipate. Once I was on my own and got my own pet, I took her to Plantation Animal Hospital and Dr. Murphy took care of her as if she were his own pet, taking the time to comfort a scared kitten and talk to her before examining her. Everyone from the reception desk, to the vet techs to the veterinarians are friendly and professional and I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of my "child". Plantation Animal Hospital is the BEST!!! more

I have know the owner of Planation Animal Hospital for several years and he is one of the best. Great service and dedicated staff. They are convenient and have many specialized types of equipment for your pets optimal health. more

These people really do love their patients!! 10/3/2007

I am new to the area and have been to numerous vets over the years. I have never been so impressed with an animal hospital! They really seem to love every pet that walks in there. They showed true compassion at a difficult time and actually made our mean dog (at the vet) be friendly! I highly reccomend them!! more
