We went to the Keller location with a 70% off coupon for holly bushes which were marked $14.88 with a large sign. When we tried to purchase the 5 bushes using our 70% off coupon, we were told the coupon was on the regular price only, even though it was not noted on the coupon. \r There were three different prices on the holly bushes - one over the entire lot of plants for $14.88, a tag on the plant itself which said $24.88 and a sticker on the plant container that had a price of $29.88.\r The 70% off coupon does not state off original prices. It has no limitations what-so-ever printed on the coupon. \r Even though every customer could purchse the holly plants for $14.88 (no special price was indicated on the sign), we were charged 70% off of $24.88, which is $37.32 (for 5 plants) instead of 70% off $14.88, which is $22.32. Thats an overcharge of 60%!!!\r \r The Plant Shed uses deceptive advertising to lure customers in and the arbitrarily changes their prices to overcharge their customers.\r \r When I asked for contact with an owner I was told no one had that information. the plant shed gave me the best customer service out of any plant store i've been to. The quality of plant was excellent, they have a huge variety of well taken care of plants that all look great in my yard weeks later. The employees were very helpful in finding what i need and telling me how to care for my purchase. Over all it was the best experience at any plant store for me. We purchased over 700 pieces of st. augustine sod and a month later and our yard looks great not to mention all of our neighbors continue to stop by and ask about the grass. We also love to visit the plant shed and see our favorite employee, THOMAS (the cat). I was under the impression that I got good service at the Plant Shed in Southlake but what I was part of is a clearance process where trees are sold to you at your own risk, not wit warranty. We paid $250.00 for a tree. They sell, do not give you any sort of written guaranties or advice as to what needs to be done and what is covered or not covered. They delivered and we were stuck with a dead tree in the long run with no replacement. I will make sure that our neighbors do not go to this store or any of them in the DFW area.
