Planned Parenthood??

yes, they are 'free', who doesnt want 'free' services??!! if you want to pay go somewhere else.They run on a donations from every single person!if you knew planned parenthood you would know that are clean cups ARE SEPARATED from our cups that are dirty and have urine patients dont follow directions and instead of putting them in them in the cubby they mistakenly place them near the clean cups,therfore theyre not creating a "health hazard" ,not only can we fit you in sometimes same day but we also have all medicines,treatment, and birth control here versus at other doctors where u get a prescription.At times yes, there are loong wait times, cheap services make us wanted in a tough economy.In reference north clinic asking you about period,well,honey it was for low income abortion services on the paper it ask you for that info, you simply missed it and they had to ask you! more

This was a horrible experience. I have never been in a medical facility that was so disorganized, unsanitary, and where the patient privacy is low. They failed to ask me about insurance over the phone and when I got there they told me I could pay full price or reschedule until they could see if the services were covered. I said I would wait for them to see if it was covered, they gave me more paperwork and when I turned them in I was asked very loudly when my last period was. I don't want everyone to know that! Then I was asked to give a urine sample and I was told the clean cups are in the bathroom. I look for clean cups, they were no where to be found. I open a small door and there I see an uncovered urine sample in a paper cup along side the clean cups. I am a very clean person and have studied infection control in school and know that this was clearly a health hazard. Someone's uncapped urine cup right next to all the clean cups that they want me to touch really bothered me! I know its not the best clinic in the world and the fees are waived for many people, but this was just disgusting to me. Can the patient have just a little more privacy and can there not be contaminated cups next to the clean cups. I do not think this is too much to ask. I am a student in the medical field so this was just not up to my standards at all. This place was definitely not for me, but may be the right place for someone else. more

They will get you the help you need, including annual exams, and they work with you based on your income. It is a great place to go when you dont have insurance, but you want to be smart about your body. more
