Good: The medical staff was knowledgeable, open about care, and didn't wasn't time explaining things that I already knew.. Bad: One of the receptionists (red head) was just plain rude. She made no attempt to help me fill out the insurance information, didn't offer to check to see if my insurance would cover the appointment, make no mention of the Take Charge program AND flat out lied to the other receptionist about why she didn't take care of the insurance info in the first place. Go to the blond one--not only does she know what she's doing, she's also nice about it as well.. Improvements: The reception area gives off a bad "You are a bad person for being here" vibe. It really supports the whole stigma related with Planned Parenthood. Sexual/reproductive health shouldn't be closeted.. Other: The doctor did a more thorough check than my regular doctor and, though they seemed rushed at times, the staff (with one red headed exception) knew what they were doing. At no point during the actual appointment did I feel uncomfortable (which is truly amazing, given what I was there for)..
