I travel to Boston and Cambridge weekly to find music that I can't live without. Planet Records is an automatic stop. Their selection is impressive and always changing. The staff is friendly, relaxed and helpful, to the point where they will check in the corners behind the counter to find a CD that didn't turn up in the racks. Spend less money where you get more in service and personality - Planet Records. more

even though there is a tower records right around the corner, I like the experience I get at planet records. It makes me feel like I'm a little bit more in tune with the music scene rather than supporting some huge corporation. If you're looking to broaden your horizons with something new, the staff is pretty helpful in offering suggestions. I like to just browse around and see what I can find for myself. more

Tons o Sound 8/15/2005

Like many used record stores in the city, Planet Records houses many records at incredible cheap prices. The staff are friendly and availible to help with your selections of music and or movies. Located in Harvard Square, Planet Records os home to many indie teenages and college students. Slightly off the beaten track, this place is a lot of fun. more
