We're just past the halfway point of a two-year membership I wish we'd never allowed ourselves to be talked into it. We see regulars in there all the time, so some people must think it's okay. Some of the equipment is broken--steam room, sauna--and they just put an OUT OF ORDER SIGN up there and that's it--for months. They have TVs to watch in the aerobics bay, but the matter of whether you get sound is a crapshoot. It's almost funny sometimes. They put these crappy cheap plastic shower curtains in there to replace the previous torn shower curtains and the replacements were in tatters within days. Sometimes there's no soap or no paper towels. The staff is not exactly chummy, but they're okay. It's just that nobody seems to care very much. And one final note: The complimentary advisory meeting with a trainer when you first join is pretty much a joke. These folks make money selling you hours of personal training, and they're not about to put out much effort unless you're signing up. It's hard to envision anything ever changing there,
Pros: location, easy access
Cons: run down, badly maintained
