The secret of Pizza Rustica 6/2/2006

The real pleasure of Pizza Rustica's slices can only be appreciated after having a fresh thin slice from their whole pies. The tourist crowd in South Beach seem to order the pre-made sicilian slices from under the heat lamps. Not to say that these aren't tasty and a good value but the smart patron would order a fresh baked pizza with the ingredients of their choice. They have a really nice selection of fresh ingredients to create your own including fresh proscuitto & kalamata olives. more

Pizza Rustica - Coconut Grove 4/3/2006

I love Pizza Rustica's pizza! The toppings are so fresh & they offer unique pizzas like Chicken Parmesan, New York Steak, and Chicken Florentine. An added bonus to this particular location (and a few others in town) is that they also have a Chick-N-Grill inside the same location. Pizza Rustica has 3 locations in South Beach alone & location near Brickell as well. more

Good pizzas! 9/4/2005

This place is located on the Washington Avenue. Their pizzas are good but not the best. They lack the variety and I find the pizzas too fattening in this place. However, they taste good and it is a good place for a quick fix. It is recommended when you are around and looking for a quick snack. more

You feel you are eating pizza in Italy 9/3/2005

Pizza Rustica is located on Washinton avenue and is equipped with twelve enormous deck-ovens. It offers thick and thin crust pizza, there is a small eat-in counter, and the endless varieties range from pizza with four chesses, pizza fungi, chock-full of exotic mushrooms and baked into fresh buffalo mozzarella to Pizza bianca, an authentic sauce-free pizza that is decorated with fresh arugula and chicken. more

Different but overrated 8/13/2005

The pros of this place is that the toppings and selections are unique and varied. The value (about 4 dollars to 4.50 dollars tax included) is also a huge plus, you definitely get a good sized portion which would definitely fill you up and I have a pretty big appetite. The type of selections are shrimp, barbeque pineapple, chicken parmesan, among others. The only con is that it sorta lacks in tomato sauce and its sorta dry at times. more
