This place knocks it outta the park every time! Their pizza stacks up to the stuff out in Chicago. I know how good it is after living there for 20 years of eating. The garlic bread here is some of the crispiest and best seasoned you can get. Definitely get to pizza Maria to sit and have a pie if you live anywhere close to the area! more

Best Pizza in the South Bay 4/3/2009

Being a transplant from the Boston area, I've struggled to find a good pizza joint in the Bay Area. Pizza Maria is closest I've found to the good, authentic Italian-American Pizza that I grew up loving. I definitely recommend checking this place out. Pros: Delicious Pizza more

Authentic Southern Italian Food 11/7/2008

Pizza Maria has authentic food from Southern Italy. Try it! This is the real thing. Some of the menu items are great pizza, chicken wings, favorite Italian dishes and more. It is one of those places that will become one of your family's favorites. Pros: Incredible food, Italian owners who know how to cook, reasonable prices. Cons: Look carefully on the corner of McKee Road and Toyon Avenue or you might miss it. more

Best Pizza in San Jose 9/26/2008

When you first see the restaurant, it looks small. Then you open the screen door and the aroma's that tickle your senses start to make your mouth water. You may think I wonder if this pizza place is any good, then you have your first bite and you realize this is what pizza is supposed to taste like, to look like, at that point you are hooked it is what you have always wanted a pizza to taste like. Exellent Pizza 2/3/2005

Exellent, Exellent, Exellent pizza. You think you want only one slice and when you try this pizza you will want to have more. When I first tried it I thought on slice is enouph, but know I ended up eating three slices. It is a very good pizza. I would recommended in a heart bit. Pros: good people, good food, best taist more

This is some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. All the ingredients are very fresh. I've tried several items on the menu, and all of them were excellent! This family run restaurant serves you a great meal with the home-cooked feeling. more
