The pizza crust of our pan pizza was floppy!! Dare not try to pick it up in our hands to eat it until we were near the edge! Bacon? What bacon? Couldn't see it nor could we taste it! When we mentioned the lack of bacon to our waitress, she looked at the pizza and said that it, like other toppings are measured out. I said "well, that may be, but we not only can't see bacon, we don't taste bacon either!" Waitress said "do you want me to take a dollar off the bill?" I said OK! While she was off fixing the bill, my husband and I wondered why only a dollar as the cost of toppings for our large pizza was $1.49 per item! When she brought back the new bill she asked if we wanted beverage refills! Nice she asked, too bad it wasn't while we were still eating and would have enjoyed a refill! Our bread sticks were not hot and almost bare of seasoning! And the edges were hard! When she brought 2 boxes for our 4pieces of leftover pizza, she just left the boxes! Didn't even place slices in the boxes which is what we were accustomed to the wait staff doing! So, needless to say, we were very disappointed and dissatisfied! Nearly $25.00 for what? A lousy dinner and service! The waitress did not get our usual tip of 18-20%! And my husband wrote a note, very called for and accurate on the bill, that I'm sure disappointed the waitress! But, the sad thing is, she had a lovely smile and we're sure, if trained properly on how to correct such situations, she could be a very good waitress! The customer should not be asked if they want the bill discounted, it should be an automatic! to make right for the customer! We were in Cracker Barrel just days earlier! My husbands meat was not done correctly. Not only was he apologized to, the waitress said she would be happy to have another made properly! The manager then came and apologized and said that she was taking the cost of my husband's meal off the bill! Waitress did not ASK if he wanted a new piece of his ordered meat, she said that she WOULD do so!! Manager didn't ask, SHE DID!!
