This Pizza Hut doesn't seem to require that delivery drivers speak English, which results in drivers getting lost, confused, and delivering ice-cold pizzas. Last night, our pizza arrived on time, but unbeknownst to us, the driver stood outside our building for 10 minutes trying to call a defunct phone number linked to our account because he didn't understand the important instruction also linked to our account: CALL INTERCOM; DO NOT CALL CELL. We had to go all the way down and let him in because he didn't know how to operate the intercom, and he lied to my face: ""It not working. It not working."" He didn't even try to use it (we would have heard the dial tone.) I called to report this and ask what could be done, and the first person I spoke to said he'd have to get the driver's story. Good luck, since he's a horrible communicator and makes excuses. He also said he couldn't refund my card. Um...okay? If a waitress screwed up my meal at a restaurant, she wouldn't get a tip or we'd get some compensation for the trouble, right? The driver messes up and I don't get anything out of it? I spoke to someone above him and ended up getting a credit to our account. My advice: PICK UP YOUR PIZZA from this location, and always ask to speak to a manager if you have a complaint, because everyone else is full of excuses and BS.
