The pizza is tasty and promptly served, the staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, the restaurant is clean and roomy, and they handled our large group gracefully. Overall a pleasure! more

Innovative combinations of ingredients atop a crust that's the perfect cross between crisp and soft. The pesto sauce is a must-try (e.g., used on the ""Hollywood"" pizza with black olives, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, and parmesan), as is the creamy garlic sauce. For you low-carb dieters, they'll do a thin crust if you ask, and you can partake of their extensive salad bar. The staff is super professional--they did a catering delivery for an event at my high-tech employer; not only did they have everything under control, but the hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. Thumbs up! Pros: Food quality, decor, friendly staff, cleanliness, beer & wine selection, desserts from Cheesecake Factory. Cons: Weekday lunchtime parking at this shopping center is a bit tricky, but not impossible. more

I love being on that side of town so I have an excuse to eat at Pizza Cal! Their gourmet pizzas are to die for; the beautiful and extensive salad bar has ingredients for all tastes. I don't know what they put in their thick crust, but I eat every bite of it. I always enjoy an excellent glass of wine there, too! This is my favorite gourmet pizza place. -Joan L. more

Pizza California has a great selection of pizzas; my favorite is the North Beach, a thin-crust pizza with olive oil, mozarella, and sliced tomatoes. Delivery service is friendly and always within the time they state on the phone, but could use some polish. Requests for extras like dip or peppers are almost always forgotten. Drinks are sometimes forgotten, too. The restaurant's patio has tables outside that are decorated with little lights and are great for eating in the warmer months. I love their pizza! It is absolutely delicious and the salad bar is awesome. They use super fresh ingredients and have a wide variety of goodies to pile on.
