My experience with Pittsburgh Spay and Vaccination Clinic has been positive. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The office was clean. I was treated with respect and my cat was given tender care. The cost was comparable to other vets in the area and lower than some. more

Sure, unexpected delays can happen. But making me always wait (and wait and wait) when I have an appointment is a sign of disorganization and, frankly, disrespect. Plus, the recently adopted aggressive upselling tactics have reached a level of absurdity. The veterinarians (save one) seem competent enough. more

We've been using PS&VC for about 15 years. The staff is friendly and helpful, the vets are knowledgeable and professional, and Dr. Tom Wiles is the best. He consistently exceeds expectations. One of our cats is currently under the care of Dr. Zeglin, who like Dr. Wiles is both professional and knowledgeable. Both have called long after we would have thought they'd called it a day. My only (minor) complaint is that the office phones aren't always on when they are in the office (lunch, after certain hours and on Saturdays), but we never thought of going elsewhere. more

I highly recommend Pgh Spay and Vaccination Clinic. Dr. Wiles is an amazing Vet. He really takes time to examine each pet, and follows up to make sure they are getting better. I don't know what I'd do without Dr. Wiles!!! more

I just love Dr. Wiles and his staff. He is so compassionate and gentle with the animals. I've taken my cats there for years and they just seem to calm in his presence. He is an expert diagnostician and I have total confidence in him. Don't be surprised if he calls you at 8:00 in the evening with either test results or surgical results. And, he won't be in a hurry to get off the phone! He explains all results and procedures in detail. I totally trust him and his caring staff. Wouldn't even consider changing vets. He is special. more

Personally, I have used Pgh. Spay & Vaccine Clnc for my dog since they first opened. My son has sought their help for two of his dogs. The vets are dedicated, professional, very thorough and most kind and considerate to both person and pet. In house stay, the staff is most accomodating to your vists and questons. My patients ( I am a health professional), any number of they, and neighbors would not think of going elseware for care. I would recommend that ifi you had a question of care or misunderstanding with the office, Please return and I know that they would go out of their way to help you find satisfaction. more

The doctor this doctor trusts with his animal friends 1/17/2012

For the past 30 years, we have been fortunate to have Dr. Tom Wiles and his staff care for our dogs through thick and thin. They have always been highly competent and unfailingly compassionate. As a physician myself, I know outstanding care when I see it. In the medical field, Dr. Wiles is a doctor's doctor---someone we would trust with a member of our own family. And we do! Pros: null Cons: null more

compassionate, caring, and honest. 10/11/2011

We have trusted Dr. Wiles and his staff with our menagerie of dogs, cats and rabbits since june of 1985, it has been nothing but fantastic service, he takes time with you to explain vaccination protocol, medical jargon and necessary procedures that your animal may reguire. Anyone would agree that having a Vet that you would trust your own life with, makes leaving your pet @ their facility, a lot less stressful! more

Misleading Estimates of Cost 1/9/2011

Being new to Pittsburgh I took my kitty to this facility looking for sound information of his condition to make educated decision on his quality of health. Instead I received 4-5 different estimates for services my kitty was in worst shape than he was before hospitalized and agreeing to a $700 procedure. I was told he was eating and active but after one day being home there is NO possible way he improved while onsite at this facility. Very nice people 12/30/2010

I took my little dog there for the first time. I say little dog because he's small in size but has a big personality. After (the dog) trying to bite the doctor and the nurse, they had to put a muzzle on him to make the check up. Very nice. more
