Obviously the people who write a negative review obviously do not know what they are talking about. They quite obviously know nothing about dance and especially ballet. The Pittsburgh Ballet is wonderful and the ballet dancers are extremely talented. The theater is always crowded with people that are big fans as noted by their outbursts at the end of the show. more

Ballet...a little boring 8/11/2005

I find the ballet a little boring with all the dancing and no speaking or singing. The Nutcracker is pretty well done if ballet is your thing but I'd recommend one of the CLO musicals over ballet any day. The Benedum is a really neat building...very beautiful, but hard to see from some of the back seats (as in, you can't really tell which actor is which) so splurge a little for better seats. more
