Well, that was easy! 7/8/2015

I called Geico this morning and they sent me to The Pitstop off of the 15 for my repair. When I arrived, they already had my information. 10 minutes and I was able to sign and drive away without paying anything out of pocket. Way cool! more

Did a really good job 8/28/2014

We got a 14 inch crack that happened suddenly from the heat. Called the dealer and a replacement was going to be $760. Ouch! Went to Pitstop in San Diego for windshield repair instead. $80 later and you can barely see it. more

Pitstop literally just saved me $500. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 5/21/2014

Fiat wanted $560 to replace my windshield. What the...? I hit the web and saw good reviews about Pitstop Auto Glass. I took a chance and drove over to see what $60 would do and I am stoked because the crack is virtually gone. Gil was fair and made it easy with no bulls__t. It is rarer still to go to any automotive repairs these days and not get an up-sale. That was refreshing, too. more

This is the spot for windshield repair in San Diego. 8/21/2013

My Jeep caught a rock on the 56 west this morning. I called my insurance, AAA, who told me that they do not do long cracks, but that Pitstop in Carmel Mountain does. I was already in Del Mar, so I called another company who is mobile. He came out and said that he doesn't do cracks, but that I should go to Pitstop. That was reason enough for me to got for a drive back the other way for lunch today and have them do it. The repair looks pretty good considering what it was. I am pleased with the results. more

fair priced and good job 4/8/2013

A recent road-trip resulted in a dime-sized chip in my line of sight on the driver's side of my windshield. I also had a pea-sized chip on my passenger's side that I've been neglecting for years. I contacted Pitstop after I got an expensive online quote from another company. I'm glad I did because they were able to take care of my two stone chips that day at a fraction of the cost. The website provides helpful information on repairs and once you get to the shop, Gil guided me through the repair process. He did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend his services. Since I work on World Trade Drive, I found this place very convenient. It is located by the Trader Joe's in Carmel Mountain. more

Simple and Easy 1/30/2013

I called this company this morning, as I have recently had a couple of windshield cracks that need to be taken care of. Bill at Pitstop Autoglass did the job right there, quickly and professionally. It took less than an hour. He also spent time to instruct me on how to treat the window for the next 24 hours. I really liked the convenience of driving to a shop to get this done, and all the paperwork with the insurance company is handled by them. I will be a return customer! more

4th time using Pitstop! 5/2/2011

Good: Quality is consistent every time I go. The price has not changed since my first visit in 2008.. Other: My other trips here were for for tiny chips but today it is hot and the chip was growing while I was on the phone on the way to the Pit Stop shop. Great prices and service. 3/9/2011

Found them through the San Diego Association. We got a rock to our brand new windshield on Sunday. The windshield was JUST installed on Friday. I was pi**ed off for sure. Went to this shop and the damage is 90% gone which is fine by me because it is on the passenger side anyway. I will use Pit Stop again in the future if I have to. more

Good: The quality was five star. The service was five star. The price was lower then anyone else. The lifetime warranty is unbeatable.. Other: Went here for two small cracks on my window. Nice guys and a hard workers, paid a lot of attention to detail to my window, and educated me about what they were doing. Worth checking them out.. more

We arrived for our scheduled appointment and were out of there in 15 minutes just as promised. Our crack 6 inches long and it looks like a hair instead of an ugly crack. Thanks for the good job. more

I have a '99 Toyota Camry and found it has a 8-inches crack on windshield glass. I browsed many solutions at Google, tried to replace whole glass at the first time but it was pricey and found this center. He is very nice and skillful, absolutely it's not totally perfect same as new glass but if you think about budget, this should be the best solution in San Diego. He even fixed another small chip for free! I strongly recommend this shop. more

Absolutely the best service and work. I do not live or work close to Pit Stop Auto Glass, but I have no problem driving over there and waiting at Starbucks while the work gets done! I've been there several times, and every time the service and craftsmanship have been first rate. more

Best price in town. No B.S., just a good job! 7/20/2010

The best price, value and quality windshield repair is only found at Pitstop Autoglass in the Poway/Carmel Mountain area. Get this: I called windshield repair shops around San Diego and got a different price from every single one! This one guy told me that it was $63 dollars for a repair and $20 for a guarantee. Say WHAT?!?! Then I called Pitstop Autoglass and the price was only $40 WITH a lifetime guarantee! Now that is fair! If you want value, go to Pitstop Autoglass on Carmel Mountain Road. i went to turn my lease in and they wanted to charge me for a new windshield. i said that i would take care of it myself and pitstop repaired it. when i turned it in they were super-cool with everything. the dealership wanted $400 and gil charged me $0. $360 saved. thanks for the great service. more

Rock chip repair man that knows his stuff! 3/16/2010

My son caught a rock in my van last week and I though that I would have to replace the whole thing. I saw this business while shopping and thought that I would stop in for more information.
