A nicely appointed place to stay with roomy, nautical-themed 1-bedrm suites that are great for families. Oceanfront rms are worth the extra $$. My kids love the elevated rec area that has oversize chess set, badminton, table tennis, and small putting green. There is not a lot to do in Pismo itself, but this hotel makes a great home base for day trips to SLO, Cambria, Guadalupe sand dunes. Didn't use pool area as we visited in winter. Only drawback is breakfast, which is included but limited in selection.
