Pirate's Hide-Out Inc

Good: Our family young and old loved Pirates Hideout. The adults loved the excellent friendly service, imaculate grounds and great food. We had our sons 8th birthday there and the kids loved the pirate theme and space to run around as well. The staff were very friendly with the children and very helpful. Everything was very neat and organized. The have great group options for parties. We went early and it wasn't crowded at all.. Bad: There wasn't anything we didn't like. I do think if you come later in the day it could get a little crazy. By the time we left it was pretty busy. The only thing I could say as far as improvement would be to have more pirate characters or pictures of pirates on the actual course. There is a big pirate ship and a pirate in the lobby area but as you continue to golf you don't see pirate pictures of characters.. Other: I don't think the pictures do the grounds justice. The folks at Pirate's hide-out have gone above and beyond! They created a new coffeehouse with wi-fi for 2007! As always, the landscaping is beautiful. The soft serve ice cream is tasty and I am forever impressed when I order a medium and the ice cream stands practically 6 inches above the cone!! Quite the treat! This is a fairly new mini-golf place. The staff is very friendly and they have coupons in the penny saver so it is fairly inexpensive to play. WE played there at night, so there were a lot of bugs, but we had some bug spray so it was not too bad. The holes are fun to play and they have a lot of shoot it in the hole and the ball goes in a tunnel an brings it near the real hole. We even had a tree frog fall out of the tree on one of the holes.
