In Elk Grove Village you will find our very own buried treasure, "Pirates' Cove." This children's theme park is as entertaining today as when it was built over 25 years ago. Open from June through August, the Park is designed to stimulate and encourage the creative exploration and imagination of children between the ages of two and nine. Guests may visit our concession stand to purchase a snack, or bring in their own picnic lunch. Be sure to plan your visit to come see us this summer.
*Castle of Camelot- Children can climb through a maze of tunnels, and ride down the slides. Don't forget to take a ride down the back of Misty, The Smoke Breathing Dragon.
*The Pirate Plunge - Children will have the chance to race their friends as they travel down this giant fun slide.
*Safari Express - Take a train ride through the Safari. Parents can ride too!
*Visit Pirate Pete's new climbing area and scale the 20-foot high climbing wall. Challenge yourself to reach for the top! Closed toe shoes, preferably gym shoes, must be worn to climb the wall. You can also climb on PJ's rope climber and jump around in the Jolly Roger Jump.
*The Eureka Train Ride directs you around a train track, through a dark tunnel, and past the old Eureka Mine.
*Paddle Boats take you through Pebble Pond, where you and your friends can ride and splash.
*A historical focal point is a rare 1950's Herschell Kiddie Carousel, which features 22 hand-painted aluminum horses. This previously undocumented gem has been added to the census of the National Carousel Association. This old fashioned whirling ride provides a cool breeze for children on a summer day!
*The authentic 18th Century Pirate Ship is perfect for picnicing or just taking a gander at the Theme Park.
*Enjoy Buccaneer Bites Concession Stand located in the center of the park. Birthday party and corporate packages are available.
