This place stinks....Literally!!! 8/11/2009

I went in there to look at the selection of fish they had. The SMELL was unbearable. The store was unkept and cluttered. The small animals were stuffed in cages with many offspring. There water bowls were filled with feces. There was a rabbit in a cage so small he couldn't even hop around. Did I mention the smell? The SMELL was unbearable. I wasn't even able to finish looking at the fish. I was so sick to my stomach. My clothes smelled foul till I was able to change. This place should be shut down. Poor Animals!!!! more

Pirate's Cove 3/17/2006

Pirate's Cove has a decent selection of pet supplies. I bought my dog four squeaky toys for $1-2 each two years ago, and they're still in one piece. They don't carry larger animals; just rodents, lizards, and insects. The owner is a nice guy who knows a fair amount about pet care, and Pirate's Cove is a nice place to stop to pick up a new toy or snake fodder. more
