Very professional. Called when they said they would and showed up exactly on time. Even came out on a Saturday for no additional charges! The technician was very polite and was able to diagnose my appliance within minutes. He had the part on his truck and was able to fix the problem quickly and efficiently. The price was very fair and he advised me they guaranteed the repair for one year. Couldn't have asked for more! Pros: reliable more

Jared came out after a cheaper service guy said I needed a new refrigerator. It took him ten minutes to figure out it was a five dollar part. Calling the cheapest service guy almost cost me a new refrigerator. I sure am glad I asked for a second opinion. Prompt reliable service is what I received. That's all I ever want and after seeing what other service guys do up here I will be a Pioneer Appliance customer for life. Thanks Jared! Pros: The only repair service I'd call up here. The owner, Scott, came out to fix our refrigerator. Wow! He is a hunk!! We started talking about the economy and such and he is very concerned that we are headed for a socialistic society that will be run by the federal government. But, he has a great sense of humor and works,WHILE he talks. He rides an Indian Chief and it is pretty. Anyway, he saved us A LOT of money and I highly recommend you call his company. My washer was what I thought beyond repair but I thought I would give these guys a try since one of my neighbors who has lived in Tahoe forever said these guys are very honest and the best. They not only called me when they said they would but the guy was right on time and really knew his stuff. I would highly recommend these guys and have many times. I had the owner of this business, Scot, to my house today to fix a problem with my dishwasher. It was not draining properly causing a foul smelling water to sit in the bottom of the dishwasher. After looking at my dishwasher, he asked me if this was my first dishwasher. I am a woman in my mid 30s with two kids...so I just gave him a look like, are you serious? We moved into this house 6 mos. ago and it is the third home I have owned and I have rented countless others. He then asked how many dishwashers I had used in my life! I told him I had used enough dishwashers to know that foul smelling standing water in the bottom of the tub was not normal. He then argued with me that it was the way I was using the dishwasher (pre-rinsing dishes and using Cascade) that was the problem. He told me I wasn't sanitizing the dishes and I was contaminating my children by using Cascade. He told me that standing water at the bottom of the dishwasher is normal and there was nothing he could do about it. He said that all dishwashers have this. He charges $99 to tell me this! Unbelievable! My husband wants me to report him. We had a plumber out later that day who fixed the air gap under the sink and now the dishwasher drains perfectly. On the way out the door, I apologized for my baby crying (it was past his naptime). I don't know why I tried to be polite after the way he treated me. He said, ""don't worry about it...I have 6 kids...but none of them were quite like that!"" Unbelievabe! I have never been so insulted in my life. I would feel very uncomfortable having this man in my home. He seemed oddly rude like he was somewhat mentally unstable. BEWARE! more
