This place is always busy. I've been a loyal patron since it first opened. Unlike the other Filipino restaurants in the area, the staff here is always friendly and the place is always clean. I don't think they've ever been rated under a B.
I live out of state, but make it a point to order Kare Kare (ox tail w/ peanut sauce, and filipino veggies)whenever I'm in the area. They only serve it on Sundays and Wednesdays and it runs out fast, so order early. This place is a turo-turo (cafeteria style), so it's fast, unless you happen to go during lunch hour--then you'll have to wait in a long line (behind too many scrub-clad filipinas), but hey, the food is good. Check out their halo halo, too.
