Dr Rios was recommended to me by a friend who said he did excellent work and had a great bed side manner. All of which are true, but I still wanted to do my own research to make sure I was dealing with an experienced, well qualified Dr. to perform my breast augmentation. I chose to go with Dr. Rios because of of the credible information and positive feedback that I found on the internet. I am extremely happy with my decision and the excellent outcome of my breast augmentation. I appreciated his knowledgeable, honest advice, which he was right on, about everything I asked. The recovery time was very minimal, which he is known for, and I was able to return to work the next day with little discomfort. I have wanted a tummy tuck forever! Good friends who are both doctors recommended Dr. Rios. It was a little more of a distance for me, but I went for the consultation anyway. I'm so glad that I did. I immediately felt very comfortable with Dr. Rios, and the office atmosphere is very friendly. When ever I come in for follow-up visits, I always see Dr. Rios (not an assistant), that means alot to me. My results are beautiful! My stomach looks better know than when I was 18. I was contemplating breast augmentation for 5 years before I got up the courage to find a doctor. I finally found a doctor nearby, in Joliet, and set up my first consultation. I have to admit I was nervous at first, but he was friendly and honest about every little thing. After the first consultation, you have to set up a second consultation, just to make sure you are really going to go through with it. I think this is a smart idea, since surgery is a major deal. I finally had my surgery on February 24, 2009 and it was the best decision I ever made. I was in pain, but it wasn't unbearable. I didn't have any drains or pumps and I was told to take Motrin for pain - no drugs! All in all, I've had an excellent outcome and am so happy I stuck with Dr. Rios. I thought about breast augmentation for many years. After seeing an advertisement by Dr. Rios stating that his approach to augmentation was not like others I became curious. The newspaper ad indicated there would not be a need for pain pills, there would be no drains, or a long recovery time. Yeah right! \r So I attended an informational session Dr. Rios and his wife hosted in 2007. After listening to him and meeting him I felt like I had found the right man for the job and never even considered consulting with another physician. I waited a few more months before I made an appointment for a ""free"" consultation. I was prepared with many questions all of which were answered. I made at least one more appointment (no charge) before I made the decision to go forward with the surgery. Dr. Rios listened to my expectations and provided professional guidance when necessary. My original surgery date was August of 2008 but I had an abnormal mammogram which required a biopsy. After the results of the biopsy came back negative I rescheduled my surgery for November 2008. It has been one year now and I have never regretted my decision or my choice of physician. The results were exactly what I wanted and it is true there were no heavy bandages, drains or a necessity for pain pills. He even sent flowers to me after my surgery. I couldn't be happier. After contemplating breast augmentations for 8 years and consulting with 3 different plastic surgeons to no avail an acquaintance gave me Dr Jose Rios's card. I actually held onto the card for 3 years and finally made a decision in August 2009 to call for a consultation after viewing the website (several times). The consultation was thorough and Dr. Rios takes the time to thoroughly get to know the person before becoming the patient and encourages a second consultation. The procedure was everything he informed me it would be , painless (I only took Motrin if needed ) and virtually scarless. I was fully mobile by day 2 ( able to drive) and now it has been 6 weeks .
