Tiny shop, but what fantastic pieces! Great labels and not only do they have beautiful "lingerie" in every sense of the word, they have practical Nick & Nora pj's & hosiery, etc. ...

Little lingerie shop in Grand Central 5/19/2006

Grand Central definitely is an interesting location to have a lingerie shop. This tiny shop, however, has a great selection of classy, not cheesy, lingerie. They usually run more in cost than Victoria's Secret, but nothing like La Perla. Names include Natori, Leigh Bantivoglio, and Only Hearts, so you know you're dealing with the good stuff here. The staff vacillates between being very helpful or not helpful at all, so come to expect being on the receiving end of either when you go in. And I do wish they had more than one fitting room. more

Editorial
  • Despite the fact that it's located smack dab in the midst of Grand Central's rush-hour bustle, jewelbox-size lingerie shop Pink Slip is determined to add some intimacy to the experience of buying intimate apparel. All the basics are here, including bras and panties by Calvin Klein, cotton/Lycra tank tops by Hanky Panky ($15) and On Gossamer thongs ($13)--the invisible-under-everything ones that models and fashion editors swear by. But the selection goes way beyond basic with frilly underthings by labels like Cosabella, Priamo and Blush, as well as enough sexy nightgowns and robes to clothe a monthlong honeymoon. The real draw, however, is the refreshingly friendly staff, who are eager to please without being the slightest bit pushy.
