Nice Way to Spend Afternoon 8/20/2005

My entire family would be content to spend the afternoon at Read Books. It is a charming resale book store. It is housed in an older, cute home. The staff is always friendly , and there are not any high pressure sales. You can browse at your leisure. My husband is always able to find some obscure book that he can't wait to read. It is located near downtown Lufkin; one could even say it is "off the beaten path." Do find it; you will be glad you did. more

Not impressed 8/10/2005

I went into this store to look around and wasn't impressed. The prices weren't horrible, but the smell was gross, and the store was dark and only had one person working there and it was kind of creepy. I wasn't impressed by their collection and it was harder to find things than it should've been. The atmosphere wasn't one that I would've wanted to stay in for a long time at all. more
