When my son was born he failed both hearing tests that they administered and the hospital. A few months later we were referred to Childrens Hospital Audiology. He failed that test and a month later failed again. I was told to call Childrens ENT. They said the next appointments were over a month out. By this point in time my son was 8 1/2 months. He couldnt hear nor talk and I wasnt going to wait another month to make an appointment then wait more if something needed to be done. So I went to Intergrated Ear, Nose & Throat and saw Dr. Walker. This was on a Thursday. They performed another hearing test which my son once again failed. Dr. Walker said he was very concerned and we should do surgery as soon as possible. When we went to schedule the surgery Dr. Walker was booked solid for the next 6 weeks. So instead of waiting that time to schedule him Dr. Walker agreeded to come in the following Wednesday early just to do my sons tubes and adenoids. I mean less than a week later and my son was in surgery. He could have just said we would have to wait and that my son would have to suffer but he didnt. My son is now 15 months and can hear and speak several words now. He seems like a completely different baby then before. So much happier. I would definately reccommend this place for putting patient service first. more

My infant had persistent ear infections and although the insurance plan wouldn't allow tubes (ok, so that's not the technical term...)to be implanted right away, Dr. Walker helped us to manage the problem until insurance approved it. I was a little hesitant to have the tubes done, but I can now tell you that Dr. Walker is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, understanding, and fast! It was over in no time, and within hours my daughter was better. It has been over a year now and we haven't had one infection or any problems! We would recommend tubes to ANYONE having continual ear infections. more
