Our pet died unexpectedly in the evening and we were on the phone with The Pine Cemetery next morning. By the noon, they were taking care of our pet with the utmost respect. We, humans, received the most caring experience. They were comforting and very professional as they were explaining our options.
The environment to spend the final moments with our pet was beautiful. We selected burial in a private grave for which we had numerous casket options. Also, there were endless styles of headstones. By 3PM they had the grave ready. They provided a modest but beautiful service at the grave as they lowered the casket into the ground. The private grave is $200 + a one time $100 maintenance fee. Everything else is optional, the casket is not required. The casket was $175 with beautiful silk like lining, cover and pillow. This is a very small amount compared to what we received throughout the years from our pet as a companion and a friend.
The cemetery as a whole is beautiful with statues of pets, from rabbits to full size horses. It is a 30 acres beautiful place to walk around on a nice day. It is registered cemetery by the state, therefore by law nothing can be built on that could disturb the burial sites.
Thank you from all our heart Pines and all of the employees there who made this day just a bit less painful. ...and Sally... our pretty girl... we love you and miss you forever. Endre Pekarik Cincinnati Ohio
