Summer Paradise 4/21/2012

I have been going to pine valley for over thirteen years. I have always had a wonderful time there. The multiple pools allow you to cool off from the heat after playing ping pong, cornhole, tennis, or paytonk. There are also grills and areas to eat for parties and big groups. The slide is great for kids and adults to get on. Pine Valley just has an overall great atmosphere to be in regardless of the age of the member. The managers are always out and around the pool area and around the grounds for easy access to answer questions and deal with any concerns. The water in the pools is always clean as well as the tables/chairs to sit on. I have also had a chance to play tennis and paddle and the camaraderie among the regular players sets a great atmosphere for both competitive play and play for beginners. The fact that there are har tru tennis courts is also a huge plus. I would recommend Pine Valley for both families and individual people who want a chance to come to a place to relax and have a great time. more

Summer Hangout 4/15/2012

Overall I'd recommend this swim club to everyone. My friends and I bbq at a nice part of the pool out of the way of everything else so it's just my friends and I. Although the pool food is pretty good too. The pool is big and kids can have fun on the amusement park-sized water slide or the gator walk. There are plenty of picnic tables and pool chairs to relax on. There is also a great opportunity to grab a beer and hang out with people on the property outside of the pool area. I've made a lot of friends playing tennis, shuffleboard, and paytonk. Worth the money because it's somewhere nice and local to go to all summer long. more

Relaxing, Welcoming fun pool! 4/15/2012

All the kids have so much fun at the pool. I have made so many friends and all the workers are very friendly. I wait all winter for the summer months so I can enjoy my time at Pine Valley. more

Not worth the money 5/31/2011

When I first applied to be a member at Pinevalley, I thought it would be at least somewhat exclusive due to the pricey $800 membership for both my husband and I. I was SO wrong. They should advertise this place for what it is: summer camp / daycare. This place is all kids, all the time. I don't mind being around children, but this is an extremely overwhelming amount of kids with like 1 adult supervising all of them. The adults only pool is also a joke, who wants to sit outside in an oversized hot tub when it's 100 degrees outside? Not me. All of the kids are in the main swimming pool ALL the time except for the 15 min that they are forced out every hour. If this place really is 14 acres, why not build another swimming pool? Or better yet, keep all the kids out of the main area? It's ridiculous that the parents of these kids can pay $200-$300 for an entire summer of day camp, and i'm expected to pay $800+ to be irritated and annoyed by the amount kids there? I would NOT recommend this place. more

This swim club is drowning. 7/28/2009

Pine Valley is a nice swim club. But it is plagued with problems. First off it is horribly managed in general. It is often quite dirty, the bathrooms stink of urine and the kiddie pool is always filled with sand from the sandbox play area. If you ever want to go during the week, forget about it. The place is overrun with camp kids running about freely unsupervised. Or at least I should say supervised only by other kids. Having a small child, you have to be on the watch for the ""camp kids"" who will knock over and trample on anything and everything. If you want to get a bite to eat there be prepared to wait about 45 minutes for a grilled cheese. I have been a member there for about 6 years, and I can say this year will be my last. It is a shame. My family and I really liked the place, but it has really fallen apart over the past few years and has become increasingly frustrating to go there. If you have older kids, only want to go on the weekends, bring your own food and don't mind smelly dirty bathrooms, then you might enjoy it. Otherwise, you might want to look somewhere else. I just wish that wasn't the case. Pros: Pool, waterslide, and kiddie pool Cons: Horribly managed, dirty, food service takes for ever more
