Pine Valley Animal Hospital

This place is so very rude and NON professional and they butchered my dog and gave me no warning about what could happen when you take your dog to have there nails clipped and when he was done and we left he wasn't bleeding but as we drove down the road we looked down and it was alllllll over his pants and when he took him back in and asked what they had done to our dog, the vet tech had a great comment.... ""Oh, a massacre""... he continued to bleed and they attempted to let him go twice still bleeding... quick stop did not work the three or more times they used it... I had to walk away I was so upset... They had no compassion and the vet tech is not the one that did his nails... THE VET DID IT!! Does he know what he's doing?? ""Oh well sometimes we don't know how close we are to the quick on the black nails.."" well maybe you shouldn't cut so close!! All of his quicks were cut and his little feet were COVERED in blood :-( This place refused to give me my money back since they provided a service to me... A service that I could have done better myself at home. You also gave the service of giving me an ulcer and the worst two hours of my life.... My dog is my world and this is the reason why I have never brought him to a vet to have his nails done was because I was terrified of this exact thing happening... I have told everyone that I know about this place and what they did!! My boyfriend was covered in blood and everyone that saw him asked what happened... We will be telling everyone that will listen about this place and the lack of compassion that they showed for our child. 2nd opinion office looked at his nails and couldn't believe how short he cut them and did not even charge us for the exam because they were so sorry for what this office had done to our baby. We will be taking him to this office from now on!! oh and when he cut them it was done in under a minute.... on to the next one... THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!HORRIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Dr. Layton will never have my business again. more

My interface with Dr. Eutsy has been good, but her office staff leaves VERY MUCH TO BE DESIRED....I plan to change vets ASAP after my last interaction with the staff in the office.\r I had major surgery and cannot drive for 2 months while staying with my daughter 3 hours away. I asked the office staff to please\r give permission for Pet Meds to send me the Meds I need (much less costly than buying through Pine Valley Animal Hospital). The lady in the front office was very rude and said that the prescription was written, but would not be sent and I had to pick it up. I explained my situation and she was still very rude and said she would make an exception this one time. When Pet Meds called her, she refused to give the OK ....ONCE AGAIN. . As soon as I am well again, I plan to change VETS IMMEDIATELY. Again, I have nothing against Dr. Eutsy, but her choice of office staff leaves much to be desired. We have 5 animals and have been clients of PVAH for 8 years. Each of the animals has had varying degrees of care required in addition to the basic annual visits. Dr. Eutsey and the others in the practicehave been nothing short of professional and caring while providing exceptional pet care. Although the other commenter's case is heartbreaking, I don't feel that Dr. Eutsey would have knowingly put any animal in harms way and that there is enough traffic in that practice that she has the knowledge to make the best decision based on the information available at that time. more

I've been taking all 3 of my animals to pine valley animal hospital for 5 years now and I can say that EVERY time I go there for a visit it was a pleasure. The receptionist are friendly, the technicians there are great,there's this one technician Sarah,she is always so nice and our dogs love her,.The vet Dr Layton is very knowledgeable and always so compassionate about our animals health and well being. All in all I have nothing but good things to say about those guys. I highly recommend them. Pros: The very best veterinarian hospital in town,hands down!! Cons: There Great! more

My dog was being treated for Kidney Infection when the vet gave her a rabies shot. It's the law rabies shots but I know a waiver can be given for sick animals. I did not know then but learned alter that sick dogs should never be vaccinated while they are sick! The vet should had known this. My dog was healthy other than the kidney infection. In less than three weeks my dog went into full blown Kidney Failure. Now it can be debated whether or not the rabies shot caused the Kidney Failure but there is no debate that the vet should not had given her the shot with her being sick until the infection cleared up. Then after all the money we had paid upfront they would not work with us on the rest and in fact they would had let our dog die before treating her any at all. This is tragic that any vet or doctor would let anyone or any pet die when they have the means to try to save them. They deserve their pay but just to let a dog die is tragic and if they don't care that much about a pet they s more
